Sensory Awareness Controls Busy Brain Syndrome
YOU CAN LEARN TO GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD

Sensory awareness is innate, below conscious awareness. Its job is to keep us safe and we know it as ‘gut instinct’. Gut instinct is the sensation we get when something is not quite right (NQR), where we STOP and THINK.
BBS has annihilated sensory awareness and replaced it with ‘walking heads’ that mindlessly and randomly react. The carnage is seen every day from accidents and incidents in businesses to the madness seen on TV news daily.

Busy Brain Syndrome is Sensory Overload
As our world continually becomes more complex, our senses are bombarded from all directions.
Trying to ‘think calm thoughts’ fails…
Sensory overload – too much ‘stuff’ to process manifests in the ‘conscious brain‘ as over-thinking, which makes us feel stressed, overwhelmed and anxious.
The message the survival brain gets from sensory overload is ‘you are not safe’.
No amount of efforts to change your thinking will work – because that is not the cause of the problem. Imagine trying to fill a hole and making a mound next to the hole instead of filling it in – it is the same effect wasted effort.
Sensory Awareness is not woo woo…
Sensory awareness or getting out of our ‘heads’, is the most important thing we need to develop to counter Busy Brain Syndrome and the increasingly fast paced complex world we live in. Our lives individually and collectively would be significantly calmer and more satisfying if we ‘got out of our heads’.
We ‘admire’ people who are successful and are inspired by high achieving motivational speakers. They understand that sensory awareness is the foundation for the ‘mind’ to work for us rather than against us, as it does with BBS.
Developing Sensory Awareness is the HOW of Mindfulness
Mindfulness, mediation, yoga etc all use breathing and ‘feeling your body relax’ to bring you to the ‘present’.
Think you can control your mind?
We never stop thinking, that’s the mind’s job. Random thoughts incessantly arise and it’s pointless trying to stop them – YOU CAN’T.

Ignore your mind – ‘BE’ in your ‘body”
When you ‘feel your body‘ – you IGNORE random thinking and are able to control what you think. This is the power of being ‘present’ in control at will.
