What is Busy Brain Syndrome?
Our complex digital world causes our senses to be constantly bombarded from all directions. The result is Busy Brain Syndrome (BBS) – the brain runs out of processing bandwidth causing people to increasingly operate on ‘autopilot’.
We think we are ‘clever’ and at the top of the ‘species food chain’ with our BIG brain – true – with a giant caveat. That big brain has a narrow fixed input system that is below conscious awareness – for good reason. BBS or overload causes that narrow input system to jam up leaving the clever brain dormant.
BBS manifests as a lack of focus, poor ability to pay attention, constant distraction, relentless ‘mind stories’ (monkey mind)’, stress, overload, overwhelm, not getting things done, and pervasive political correctness. BBS (autopilot) is the ‘root cause’ of decision paralysis, accidents, incidents, rampant ‘entitled’ behaviours, silo mentality, miscommunication, and avoidance.

The ‘mind’ dismisses our ‘gut’ as irrational, justifying and rationalising why the mind is correct. When things do go ‘pear-shaped’ we berate ourselves for not listening to our gut…” I knew that would happen”.
The solution to conquer BBS is to re-engage our most basic innate skill our sensory awareness or sensory intelligence (SQ) – our senses see, hear, feel and notice our environment – NOT OUR MIND!!!!
SQ is unconscious and operates all the time – if it didn’t, humans would be extinct.

Learning how to thrive in the ‘chaos’ of overwhelming constant distraction and mind noise is not as hard as you may think.
However, you CAN NOT get there using your mind/brain.
The natural state for humans to thrive like all physical species on the planet, is the body, it is not JUST a vehicle to transport our heads around.
Humans trying to ‘overcome the overwhelm by using their minds is like attempting to extinguish a fire with petroleum.
Returning to our natural state or re-conditioning the brain and who/what we really are (not walking heads), is not so difficult.
